Merry Christmas from Malaysia! Three members of our congregation, Cris, Kalei and Tim Schuetz, live in Malaysia and Hong Kong much of the year. The Lutheran church they attend when in Malaysia has a 70-year history of spreading Christmas cheer through caroling. The church rents a 40 passenger bus and carols for four nights, 10 homes per night, from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Tim, a choir member at Abiding Grace, says they have participated the last seven years, helping to spread the joy of the birth of Christ. This year, their church in Kuala Lumpur sends a greeting to us. Click on the picture above and hit play to enjoy the video.

 Property Committee meeting. Paul Harrington is the new chair of the Property Committee—thank you, Paul! Meetings for the committee will be held the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. beginning on January 2. If you would like to be part of the team or have any questions, please contact Paul.

 Grace Café is back! Enjoy a beautiful meal and great company while supporting our youth program. Jesse and Laura Grimmer graciously host gourmet dinners at their home on the first Saturday of the month with a capable wait staff of our youth. The suggested donation is $50/person with the entire amount going to the youth. Dinners are limited to 10 guests, so to join in the fun sign up at church or contact Taylor soon. The first dinner will be Saturday, January 7, at 6:00 p.m.
