COOL STUFF!

Read down to the last technique as you'll be surprised.  I hadn't  heard of using this item to age paper but was familiar with the other techniques.

ALTERED ROLODEX CARD JOURNAL

I actually love this idea and have never done it.  However, I do have a Sizzix Rolodex diecut and a couple of empty Rolodex files (don't ask!).  Wouldn't this be a fun project on a cold, snowy winter day?  Just pick one card and alter it.  I'm thinking that the Simple Stories pocket binder supplies would work well with this too.  Lord knows I have tons of that stuff (unopened!).
COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS

Every year I feel the crunch of Christmas and end up wrapping like a mad woman at the last minute.  Every year I say I'm not going to do that again!  I'm still wrapping as my last piece to being ready, but it's a week before and I'm not feeling a crunch!  The Christmas meal is planned, the wine is purchased, the table setting is planned and the cookies are not baked...oops!  I can do those here and there...no problem!

So, speaking of wrapping, this pinner caught my eye because I also use kraft wrapping paper.  The roll I bought a few years ago weighs about 40 pounds, so I've been kraft paper wrapping for awhile now!  I believe I bought it from Paper Mart and it's a great size for any box.

RECYCLED CHRISTMAS CARDS

When I was little, my mom always saved Christmas cards from year to year to use as package tags the next Christmas!  I actually still do that to this day.  This pin reminded me of those olden days when everyone re-cycled as a matter of being thrifty.  You wouldn't believe the string ball we had from leftover string from the butcher's meats!

THE LAST TWO CHRISTMAS CARDS

I do believe I'm done making Christmas cards but wanted to share the last two as they were both a one-off designed for specific people.
My massage therapist is a Native American and she loves feathers.  I'm happy how this non-traditional Christmas card turn out!
This card was inspired by the Fun Stampers Journey December Bloom Box and the determination to make it feel like Christmas.  Hope my upline likes it!

Have a pleasant week of Christmas prep!

xoxo
