Merry Christmas and a very blessed 2017 to each one of you! Our annual Christmas concert last week at St. Bridget truly reflected the beauty and grace of this special season. Thank you Mr. VanPelt, Mr. Turner, Mrs. Hendricks, ASB Student Council, and our student musicians.

2 Winter Clubs Registrations EXTENDED
It's not too late! Spanish Club & Science Club registration deadlines are being extended to Wednesday December 28th to help boost enrollment numbers! To register, please email your child's name and grade to Clubs Liaison Tara Uffelman since the office will be closed for winter break. Forms may be turned in the week we return from break. Let's keep our enriching clubs alive, REGISTER today!
Science Club / 1st & 3rd Grade ONLY
2nd & 4th grade has been canceled due to extremely low enrollment numbers.

Taught by experts from the Pacific Science Center, Science Club is a fantastically fun and educational after-school club!
1st Grade meets from 3-4:30 on Wednesdays beginning January 4th
3rd Grade meets on Thursdays from 3-4:30 beginning January 5th

Spanish Club is BACK for winter trimester for grades 2-4 on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:15 starting January 10 and running for 8 weeks for $200. Join ASB's very own Arali Flores (you may already know her as the 3A instructional aide). Join her each week for a dynamic & fun introduction or continuation of the beautiful Spanish language.  Volleyball News:
Registration for volleyball began on December 16 with a fee of $75 per child. Regular registration will close at midnight on January 13.
Late registration will begin January 13 with a late fee of $100 per child. Late registration will close at midnight on January 18. No registration will be accepted after January 18.

To register, please go to the ASB website at www.asbschool.org. Click on the “Students” tab and then choose the “CYO Sports” link. From here, click on the “CYO Resources and Forms” link. On the next page, choose the “SportsPilot CYO Registration” link. This will bring you to the on-line registration program.
 Basketball News:
All of our basketball teams have officially started their season, with every ASB team playing in games this past weekend. Congrats on the start of a new CYO Sports season and good luck with the remainder of your season.
CYO reminders:
- Volleyball Registration is now open, please see the links above to register your child(ren) for volleyball.
- Basketball coaches, when your practices conclude, please stay with your players until all of them are picked up by their parents or guardians.
- Parents and families, please refrain from bringing food and drinks into the Assumption Gym. ASB families donated a great deal of money to bless this school with a brand new gym floor, please help us protect your investment.
The 2nd Annual Bulldog Basketball Bash is BACK! Mark Jan 28th on your calendars -- the 8th grade Girls JV team plays Villa at 6 p.m., and the 8th grade Boys AAA Varsity tip at 7:15 p.m. against St. Anne. All grades & families are invited! More details to come.

Thank you to all of our ASB families with an incoming PreK or Kindergarten student, for turning in your Applications & Parish Reflections. The deadline was today, December 21. If you missed the deadline, don't fret, but DO EMAIL ME! It will be helpful to know that first week back who is coming to ASB next year, so don't put it off. Download the Application and Parish Reflection Form (Assumption & St. Bridget families only), complete them (be sure to get the Parish Reflection Form signed by your pastor) & turn it into the front office... thank you!

Extended Care will be available Wednesday, December 21, when ASB School is dismissed for Christmas Vacation. To all of the Extended Care and ASB families, Extended Care would love to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Extended Care will reopen Wednesday, January 4, at 7:00 a.m.

Extended Care reminders:
- Wednesday, December 21st, ASB School is dismissed at 12:00 p.m., for Christmas Vacation. Extended Care will be available on this afternoon, starting at 12 noon and continuing to our normal closing time of 5:45 p.m.
- Extended Care will reopen Wednesday, January 4th at 7:00am.
- If families would like to keep a pair of gym shoes at Extended Care they may do so, please contact Dylan Pouley.
- Please turn in your Extended Care registration forms for the 2016-2017 School year.
