Grace & Peace to you Grace Church!
As I write this week’s GraceNotes, I’m super excited about our Christmas Eve gatherings at both our West and East campuses. I hope you are planning on coming out and celebrating the birth of Christ and are considering who it is that you can invite who needs to hear the life-liberating message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Remember, we’ll have services at 5:30p and 7p at West and 7p at East. Both the 7p services will be candlelight services, and the 5:30 one will be a family service with contemporary worship. On Sunday, Christmas Day, we’ll join together at 10:30a at BOTH campuses for a Celebration of Lessons & Carols.
Let me take this opportunity for Lisa, the kids and I to once again wish you a Merry Christmas. We hope that time spent in worship and celebration, as well as time spent with family, will truly be a spectacular time for you all!

Ministry & Administrative Team Orientation
Saturday, January 7th
10:30 am—11:30 am
This orientation is for all that serve on ministry teams. It is specifically geared for those who are just coming on to their team. The orientation will explain the purpose and duties of your team and also what is expected of you as a team member. Please, both new and experienced team members, plan to attend.

The Disciples of Christ small group will be meeting on January 6th at 10:00 am with Pastor Jeff. The regular study on Matthew will begin on January 13th at 10:00 am.

The Golden Years Committee would like to say “Thank You” to everyone that donated a toy for “Toys for Tots.” We collected 66 toys. Thank you for your support.

Relay for Life Meeting
Grace Church will be assembling a team for the Bay City Relay for Life Event on May 20th. Please attend this meeting if you are interested in participating in this worthy cause in the fight against cancer.

Merry Christmas from United Methodist Women!
This cold weather reminds me that our soup supper will be here soon. When browsing through recipes, maybe you’ll find a new salad or dessert recipe you would like to try for a funeral dinner. Snuggle under a blanket with an interesting book from our reading program selection. During Christmas week, our thoughts often go to people in need. Does someone come to mind who may wish to hear about mental illness that you could bring to our February program? During these snowy days when we are inclined to hibernate, let’s reach out and remember those we can help in simple and caring ways. Have a blessed Christmas!
