Christmas Dangers...

The tendency is to overindulge at Christmas, and this can apply to our animal friends as well. We like to spoil them. But be careful, because we may not be doing them any favours. Chocolates and raisins, in mince pies, Christmas cake and Christmas puds for example, are poisonous to dogs. Particularly dark chocolate, as little as 100 grams can be fatal for a dog similar size to Fritz in the photo above.

Our collection this year is cat food for the local branch RSPCA. Please bring any donations into the surgery.

Beware! Cats and decorations do not mix...

..they tend to swallow it.

CHRISTMAS DAY is now the only day we close in a whole year!
 
We are providing an on-site daily service everyday of the year except for Christmas day.

During the festive period bank holidays we are open every day for two hours, with longer hours on all the other days, giving greater access to our services during the holiday period.

Outside of this, comprehensive emergency cover is provided by our out-of-hours partner, Vets Now. Simply call our usual telephone number, 01684 560940 to be put through to them in Worcester.

Computer Anger ...

As predicted in our last newsletter the implementation of our new computer system has not been without its 'challenges'. Those of you who have visited us in the past few weeks will have perhaps noticed our new, faster, more efficient and user friendly computer system, on which the jury is still out!
We will soon be launching online booking so that you can make appointments from your smart phone, tablet or laptop.

As part of this service, there will be an option to receive text message reminders of appointments, as many GP surgeries now send.
