Ecclesiastes
By far the most ambitious book from Greyweathers Press, Ecclesiastes in the King James Version is in progress, with more than half of the text now printed. It will include considerably more engraved illustrations than originally planned – upwards of 90! The prospectus, prices and edition information will be announced to this list by end of February.
Wood engraving of the frontispiece illustration for Ecclesiastes.
Untitled Portfolio ~ Lilian Cailleaud

An upcoming collaboration with linocut artist Lilian Cailleaud on an illustrated compendium of Coats of Arms, in an edition of 50 on Saint Armand Canal paper. Featuring a clever printer's mark for Greyweathers Press, by the artist. Watch for this one in the Spring.

The Latest Book Off the Press
The Sorcerer and the Seventh Daughter

In which Septima locks wit and wile with the Necromancer who has designs on.... well, everything.

A dark fleet parked off the coast? A giant golem rampaging about the city? Citizens turning into brain-sucking zombies? For Septima, it means getting down and dirty in the vast labyrinthine sewers to foil the plot of an evil Necromancer. But what can one girl do against a Necromancer, his golem and an army of zombies? The answer is never, never, ever fuss with the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter.

Written and illustrated with wood engravings by Larry Thompson

Printed in the heat of Summer, after two years of silence from the Press. Now the rumbling voice of the Vandercook can be heard again under the Sign of the Gothic Tree in the Studio at Greyweathers in Merrickville, in the production of this – another Gothic Trifle – as a sequel to The Vampire and the Seventh Daughter.

Letterpressed with hand-set lead type in the Italian Oldstyle face, with Goudy Text for the titles, on Arches Text wove paper, in a limited edition of 60.

$80
