Dear Earth Tones Subscribers,

In our last issue we included a blurb encouraging Church of the Earth attendees to support the Standing Rock Medic & Healer Council with donations via Amazon, as well as mail-in donations of herbal supplies for the DAPL protestor camp.

Shortly after that issue was distributed, the DAPL protestors disbanded as a result of the U.S. Army's denial of a permit to build the Pipeline. They have taken down their Amazon wishlists and are not currently accepting donations. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and wanted to update our readers to let them know about this change.

In lieu of this holiday giving, the Church of the Earth of N.C. will instead be collecting gently-used winter coats for families supported by the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. You can bring coats to any Church event, such as the full moon ritual on December 13th, Garden Work Day on December 17th, or Yule on December 18th, and our Community Service Coordinator will see to it that they are delivered to USCRI. We will most likely continue to collect coats into the New Year as well, so don't hesitate to bring donations even after December concludes!

Thanks for your attention to this update, and our apologies for any inconvenience this chain of events may have caused.
