Service users often tell us what they think we want to hear taking a long time to tease out meaningful impacts. Built to increase participation and awareness of service users' learning journeys, this session is aimed at building those first steps towards a learner’s forum or for learners’ involvement in the planning and delivery of provision.  Book here

Funding

Groups receive "life-changing" support

More than £4.3m is being shared between 19 projects across Scotland aimed at helping people and communities overcome "challenging circumstances". Read more…

 


Funding for a "Fairer Scotland" Launched

The First Minister has today announced £29 million worth of funding for community and third sector projects to help support the Fairer Scotland Action Plan, published in October 2016.  
The Scottish Government will direct £18.9 million into a newSave and Exit 'Aspiring Communities Fund' which offers funding opportunities for third sector organisations and community projects working to find long lasting local solutions to poverty. The fund will open at the end of January 2017.  
 A further £9.7 million will be dedicated to the 'Growing the Social Economy Programme' , which will enable third sector organisations to try new ideas and approaches by collaborating with research organisations or supporting people to improve their skills. Read more…
