Message from the President

Padraig Walsh

Dear colleagues,

My sincerest congratulations on the conclusion of another productive year! The activities presented in this newsletter and the three earlier issues from 2016 reveal the many and varied outcomes and activities of the ENQA Board and Secretariat, its members and affiliates, and its partners.

This issue of the newsletter includes summaries of the decisions taken during ENQA’s recent General Assembly and Board meetings and information coming from ENQA’s involvement in EU-funded projects. Readers may find an update from our former Czech colleagues concerning the establishment of their new agency, while members FIBAA and ASHE share news on their recent work. A couple relevant European reports have recently been published, and ENQA is pleased to announce an upcoming event from one of our international partners.

Before the year concludes, please also take a moment to provide your feedback on the ENQA newsletter using the link at the right. Finally, the ENQA Board and Secretariat are beginning their preparations to carry out several events next year, and I would like to invite members and affiliates to please contact the ENQA Secretariat if they are willing to offer themselves as hosts for these occasions.

I look forward to seeing you all in 2017!

Happy holidays,

Padraig Walsh
President of ENQA
