Looking After Your Car with Winter Checks

Ensure you have enough screen wash concentrate to stop water freezing on the vehicle screen.

Make sure the antifreeze is strong enough to prevent damage to the engine and cooling system of the vehicle.

Check that your tyres have plenty of tread and that the tyre pressures are correct.

Make sure that you have enough fuel just in case you get stuck on your journey if the weather turns bad.

Check your windscreen wiper condition.

Check your battery condition for cold morning starting.

If you are travelling long distances, then take extra coats and blankets in case you get stranded.

Check your lights and keep them clean, especially for driving at night.

Avoid too many short journeys as this can have an effect on draining your battery. Drivers tend to use more of the vehicle's electrical components like heater blowers, heated screens and seat heaters, etc, when making short trips.
Our Team Are Expanding for 2017

Finally, we would like to introduce, Mandy Homer who from September 2016, has become our new Reception / Admin assistant. Mandy looks after our customers in terms of stock control, ordering parts and is also on hand to offer telephone support.
