Healthy Weight Week and Women's Healthy Weight Day

As Healthy Weight Week (Jan 19-25) and Women’s Healthy Weight Day (Jan 19th) approach, we are reminded that January is a time for making positive health changes.

At NVH, we support everyone’s efforts to improve personal health and wellness and take responsibility for individual health. We offer many resources for anyone who is trying to make a healthy lifestyle change, such as our Diabetes Prevention Program and weight calculation tools online here.

National Doctors' Day is March 30, 2017

Our doctors help to create the unique patient-centered care that North Valley Hospital is known for.

February is American Heart Month

February is American Heart Month, which launches the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement and its latest Hispanic movement, Go Red Por Tu Corazón, which
work to save women’s lives and beat heart disease, the number-one killer of women.

Each year, cardiovascular diseases claim the lives of nearly half a million women—almost one per minute. Show support for the women in your life on National Wear Red Day, February 3, by wearing red.
