Fried Soft Shell Crabs
Rinse and pat dry the crabs. Place in bowl and cover with milk. Heat cooking oil in frying pan. Dredge the crabs in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Fry until golden brown!
Soft shell crab sandwiches are a popular treat in North Carolina's coastal communities. Place the fried crab on a fresh bun, add tomato slice and tartar sauce. |
