Eastern Edge Gallery is very pleased to welcome our new Interim Director, Philippa Jones!
This probably comes as no surprise as you may have already seen Philippa's name on letters and public statements made by Eastern Edge this week advocating for the halt to Bill 56. Many of you will know Philippa from her involvement with the Gallery as an active member for over 7 years. With experience in arts administration in the local community and an independent Curatorial and contemporary arts practice Philippa is the perfect person to keep Eastern Edge on track and responsive to our members needs.
Both Penny and Philippa will be at the Members Show Opening this Friday at 7:00 pm. Make sure to drop by and send your best wishes to Penny, and say big thank you for all of the amazing work she has done for the gallery over this past year. And of course help us in welcoming Philippa to her new position! A lot has changed for the better since last year, and we cannot wait to see what new direction the gallery will take in 2017!
