Six weeks ago we asked the staff to talk about generosity. One group said: “Our giving is an expression of our thankfulness to God. God has blessed us through the generous sacrifices of many through the past decades. God delights in cheerful giving with an obedient heart. As Christians, our call to give is not measured by the amount, but by an obedience to reflect Christ’s giving to us. Join us! We invite you to be a committed part of what God is doing at EvFree.”

Numbers are based on our $7,750,000 annual General Fund budget.
Year End Giving
In order for a contribution to be tax-deductible in 2016 it will need to be postmarked by December 31, 2016. It can be brought to the church office by midnight, December 31, 2016 and placed in the upstairs “A” building mail slot. Also, online contributions made by midnight, December 31, 2016 will also qualify for 2016.

Please note that any contributions received on Sunday, January 1, 2017 will be for 2017. That includes any contributions received in the offering baskets and/or giving towers.

If This Was 2016, What Will 2017 Look Like?

What an exciting year 2016 has been at EvFree! We sent 250 people in 25 teams to Love Europe. Luis Palau was with us at Easter. VBS had over 1,000 kids. The Senior Pastor Search Team was launched. Ears to Hear had hundreds reading through the New Testament. This weekend features Christmas Blvd with A Walk Through Bethlehem

These are just a fraction of the great ministries done by God’s people at our church. More of God’s work was detailed in Let the People Speak. If you haven’t received the 8-page brochure, please drop by Guest Central for a copy.

We have so much to be thankful for. Thank you for your generous part in this ministry. So many have given of their time, talent and finances to make it happen. This is the joyous part of joining together in ministry, being God’s ambassadors and sharing Christ’s love.

Thank you for joining in the end of year Renovation Projects. This is a “one-fund” project, so you can simply give to the General Fund to participate.

With 2016 drawing to a close, I can’t wait to see how God will work at EvFree in 2017. Let’s all pray for the new Senior Pastor, the Search Team, and that we the people would be growing in the fruits of the Spirit.

David Fletcher
Executive Pastor

P.S. Our Business Office reminds us that donations for 2016 need to be hand delivered, done online or postmarked by Saturday, December 31. The offering on Sunday, January 1 must be counted for 2017.

A Tangible Gift of Love

Prime Agers,

Originally, you committed to filling almost 50 Christmas shoeboxes for children around the world, but then, you continued to shop, pack and pray over an additional 50+ shoeboxes! Altogether—102 boxes! Praise God! Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes were delivered to a nearby drop off center. On Wednesday, 17 PAs will volunteer, with hundreds of others, at OCC’s processing plant in Irvine.

Because of YOU a tangible gift of love will be shared with over 1.5 million children. More importantly, the gift of love through Jesus will be shared with each and every one of them! Countless children will have heard the Gospel for the first time and ask Him into their hearts. What a blessing that we could, in a small but significant way, help plant seeds.

THANK YOU Prime Agers for your love and support.
