Malaria still a Major Challenge
Omari is an energetic, sometimes bit mischievous 9-year old boy, who enjoys life to the full. He has recently contracted a serious bout of Malaria, and is currently hospitalised. Malaria still impacts at least two to three children every month at the orphanage. Milder cases are treated at home, but sometimes hospitalisation is necessary. The service is provided on a fee for service basis. Unfortunately, the leadership has to take funds from the food budget to pay these fees, as the budget is not 100% funded.
Please consider supporting the orphanage this Christmas with a one time gift, or become a monthly donor. A small monthly amount makes a big difference to children like Omari to ensure medical treatment and nutritious meals.
