WACF Seeks to Invest in Local Programs
Grant Deadline Set for February 15th

Willmar, Minn. – The Willmar Area Community Foundation (WACF) is now accepting applications for their spring round of general grants. Eligible organizations must be a 501(c)3 non-profit organizations, school or government entity who serve residents of Kandiyohi County. The WACF does two grant rounds per year and focuses its grant making primarily on proposals from organizations providing service in the following areas: Youth Initiatives, Productive Aging, Diverse Communities and Vision 2040 endorsed projects. During the fall grant round, the WACF funded selected projects such as the YMCA Mentor Program and Summer Learning Loss Prevention Program, Helping People Get There through Heartland Community Action Agency and the Willmar Destination Playground.
