Our project portfolio translates to nearly 307 new jobs, 916 retained jobs and $45 million in capital investment.

Established the Greater Oshkosh Capital Catalyst fund to provide financial assistance to startup businesses. There is $250,000 available in the fund, half funded from WEDC and the other half from the City of Oshkosh. Any single qualifying business can obtain a loan from $10,000 -$100,000, or a grant up to $10,000.

Collaborated with the I-41 Corridor group to host a familiarization tour for four national site selector consultants to better understand our area as a place to do business.

Joined the Poverty Outcomes & Improvement Network Team (POINT) initiative to strengthen existing poverty reduction efforts, address service gaps, and measure progress on reducing poverty in Northeast Wisconsin.

Worked with the UW Oshkosh Small Business Development Center to assist entrepreneurs and supported their efforts to hire an International Trade Consultant that will help guide companies through the logistics of selling and buying goods on the global market.

Promoted the Oshkosh Aviation Business Park as development ready and open for business. Between EAA AirVenture and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) conference, we have met with 130 companies and currently have more than a dozen interested in relocating or expanding to Oshkosh.

Worked with key community partners to create the vision for the Sawdust District and other redevelopment efforts in the central city to attract a talented and diverse workforce.

Organized and hosted a community perceptions event for the Village of Winneconne, in collaboration with the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, to bring regional business and community leaders together to discuss how Winneconne can more effectively recruit businesses and where these businesses should locate.

Surpassed our goal of meeting with 150 businesses, following up on dozens of issues related to growth, financing, regulations and workforce.
