2017 is Cleveland’s year of Vibrant Greenspace. What better time to begin planning and learning about Greenspace opportunities in Cuyahoga County than winter. The County Greenprint is a great tool to assist nature and sustainability enthusiasts as well as planners, service directors, city council persons and interested citizens in planning for and protecting our greenspaces. Find out how the Cuyahoga County Greenprint can help with tree plantings, riparian setbacks and other conservation strategies which enhance our natural quality of life.
Greenprint training sessions are scheduled for early winter 2017 and open to all. Participants will learn how to use the mapping tool, access best practices and create basic customized maps.

About the Greenprint
The Greenprint is an easy to use, web-based tool loaded with visual data of the county’s natural assets and supplemented with real estate, census, and other quantitative information. Planning, economic development, and other professionals are already using this tool. University and environmental group staff are as well.
County Planning created a video tutorial covering the basics of using the Greenprint. If you're planning to attend the training session, we recommend that you prepare by watching this training video as an introduction and orientation for the class.
