Oregon Live's Mizell reports that Oregon State has hired Pittsburgh AD Barnes as Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics in Corvallis. OSU President Ray: "I chose Scott Barnes because he is the perfect fit for Oregon State University. He will guide OSU Athletics to compete and win championships the right way - the Oregon State way." An official press conference is scheduled for December 29 with a start date of February 13. (link)
