 Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Thank you all for attending my groups and retreats this year, and for helping to create such a wonderful Sangha of open-hearted and engaged practitioners! It has been a privilege to be a part of your journeys and I look forward to continuing together next year, on this path of exploration. May we all live more consciously and kindly, expressing ourselves and supporting each other generously, through compassionate action.

In keeping with the law of Impermanence, sadly my wonderful admin assistant, Kelly will be starting to pursue her other career interests more fully early next year and so I will be looking for someone to take over. If you know of anyone (with very good boundaries!) who might be interested in ongoing part-time admin/book-keeping work, please let us know. Kelly will still be around and hopefully will continue to offer massages at some of the residential retreats.

Please find details of my 2017 silent retreats on my
website and below, as well as the info alongside on David Loy's Cape Town offerings. If you would like to book for any of the retreats in the meantime, please send me an email via sue.stillmind@gmail.com.

I recommend for the longer retreats, especially Easter and December, that you book as soon as you're able to. Many retreatants have found it helpful to start paying off their retreats in monthly installments from early in the year, which reduces the financial pressure at the time of the retreat

January to May retreat details are online.
June to December details
are below and further details will be added to the site by the end of January:

  • June 15-18 at Mont Fleur Conference Centre in Stellenbosch
  • Sept 7-10 at Bodhi Khaya, near Stanford, Western Cape: Spring Retreat - New Beginnings
  • Sept 22-26 at BRC, Ixopo, KZN: Embracing Life with Courage and Trust. Please book via brcixopo@futurenet.co.za.
  • Sept 27 - Oct 1 (provisional) at Dharmagiri, KZN, creating an optional 9-day retreat if attending the BRC retreat beforehand.
  • Oct 20-23 at Temenos, McGregor
  • Nov 4-5 overnight at Mont Fleur Conference Centre
  • Dec 15-19 at Bodhi Khaya, near Stanford, Western Cape

All CPD certificates will be sent out before the end of January and if you don't receive yours by then, do please let us know.

If  you'd like to join my on-going groups or new courses, please let me know and I will send you the details.

Finally, I have a 'Compassion-Fairy' fund, which subsidizes retreat places for those in need and you're welcome to offer dana towards this at any point in the year if you feel moved to do so.

Wishing you a peaceful festive season and may you end this year embracing yourselves and each other with kind and compassionate awareness.

Kiss The Earth

Walk and touch peace every moment.

Walk and touch happiness every moment.

Each step brings a fresh breeze.

Each step makes a flower bloom.

Kiss the Earth with your feet.

Bring the Earth your love and happiness.

The Earth will be safe

when we feel safe in ourselves.
Thich Nhat Hanh

With loving-kindness,
Sue
