Downtown Snow Removal Ops
Monday, December 19 & Tuesday, December 20
The City of Barrie will be performing snow removal operations beginning at 10pm Monday, December 19th and 10pm Tuesday, December 20th. This operation will involve rolling road closures coordinated by Barrie Police Service and City staff.
All vehicles should be removed from metered parking by 6pm December 19th and December 20th. Vehicles that are not removed by this time will be ticketed and towed. The areas impacted include the following streets, or sections of streets, in the downtown area.
Areas East of Bayfield Street

- McDonald St. (Sophia E. to Mulcaster)
- Worsley St. (Bayfield to Mulcaster)
- Collier St. (Bayfield to Berczy)
- Clapperton St. (McDonald to Dunlop)
- Owen St. (McDonald to Dunlop)
- Mulcaster St. (Codrington to Dunlop)
- Poyntz St. (Collier to Dunlop)
Bayfield Street & Areas West of Bayfield
Parking Restrictions Effective 6pm Tuesday, December 20th & Overnight

- Ross Street
- Park Street
- High Street
- Bradford Street
- Simcoe Street
- Toronto Street (Ross to Simcoe)
- Mary Street (Ross to Simcoe)
- Maple Avenue (Ross to Simcoe)
- Dunlop Street West (Eccles to Bayfield)
