Christmas is on a Sunday!? Gather in Schmidt Hall for a family service of scripture and carols. Coloring during worship highly encouraged.
2016 Giving If you’d like to catch up on your pledge or make an extra gift, the end of the year is a perfect time! Contributions for 2016 must be received or postmarked by December 31. Online donations can be made here.
Thank you to all who helped with this year’s Christmas Box giving. We proved once again that snow and ice can’t stop us! With your generous donations, time and energy we were able to provide boxes for 90 families. 50 families received a full Adopt A Family box with Christmas dinner, additional food, paper products and gifts for the family. Another 40 families received Christmas dinner and gifts from Clackamas Toy and Joy.
Chili Cook-off January 15 Save the date and prepare your spices! Come for a time of good food, and warm fellowship. All proceeds will fund youth mission opportunities. To participate contact Doug Vitro, youth@milwaukiepres.org.
Baptism is a tangible reminder that God’s promises are for everyone. Please let Pastor Katie Pate know if you’d like to learn more about experiencing the sacrament of baptism for yourself and/or your children – all ages are welcome!
Inclement Weather Please do not risk life and limb to come to church! On school days, MPC follows the North Clackamas School District: if schools are closed, church events are cancelled and the office is closed. On weekends, watch for TriMet’s announcements: if roads are bad enough for Milwaukie buses to be on snow routes, church will be cancelled. Check Facebook and email for updates.
