"Anthology" Updates!

Praise be to sweet baby Jesus, it's finally done. Well...sort of. We wrapped principal photography in September and we're in the middle of post-production now--cutting the thing together, adding music--you know, giving it the life it deserves. Nuanse Photo Studio!

Let's be real. Filmmaking is expensive, so in March, we opened the Nuanse Photo Studio as a way to have convenient location access for simple video and photography shoots. As artists, we know how hard it can be to find the right location—a place that’s film-friendly, inexpensive and can get the job done—

Big Vision, Empty Wallet's
Kickstart Diversity Program!

One major highlight this year was to have "Anthology" accepted into Big Vision, Empty Wallet's Kickstart Diversity Program.

The program's goal is to champion & provide support for folk like us who wanna make good art. In June, we attended BVEW's summer Distribution Lab to meet with fellow program recipients & introduce "Anthology" to executives from Vimeo, IFC Films & more. Click here for the full announcement. And for all of you filmmakers out there, projects are accepted year-round, so submit today!

The Audience Awards!

2016 also revealed the life a project can have long after its premiere. We entered our 2013 short film Viceroy into the Live Action Shorts Contest hosted by The Audience Awards, and took home 2nd Place! We literally lost by 6 votes, so if you didn't participate, we're not saying it's your fault...we're just not speaking to you.

But seriously, thanks so much to everyone for your support because as we were drafting this newsletter, we learned that Viceroy has been invited to screen at the Audience Awards Film Festival (Audfest) April 6-9 in Hollywood, California. Congrats to the cast & crew of Viceroy once again! Click below for more details.

Throughout this year, we were fortunate enough to continue our relationship with two great organizations: kweliTV and Fractured Atlas.
