2016 Reflection
The year has almost come to an end and like any good business owner, we reflect on our relationships and experiences gained in 2016.
It has been a rewarding year and we thank our clients for making it happen!
We thank them for their ongoing support and friendship and look forward to another successful year in 2017.
In the past year, we have :
- implemented online surveys for government, small and medium businesses and Business Associations.
- developed strategic business plans and annual reports.
- advised businesses on special rate and charges schemes.
- presented on measuring and monitoring special rate and charges programs at Mainstreet Australia's, Victorian, Mainstreet Conference.
- continued the role as busines advisor to small business and trader associations in the City of Boroondara.
- developed a sales and marketing plan and developed an in-house project management tool for staff at a conference centre.
- conducted business interviews and business profiles
- facilitated one-on-one, social media management workshops with small business owners.
- partnered with a reputable photographer
Giving back to the community:
- our contribution to the Victoria Police, Blue Ribbon Foundation - Northern Metro (Visit our website: Giving-back)
- contributed to industry round-table discussions with academia, government and industry
- participated in regional, cluster consultation industry workshops to contribute in the development of a high level framework to guide the future of Melbourne's north.
We are excited about our recent discussions with organisations in relation to scoping new projects for 2017. So approaching the new year is sounding exciting with new opportunities on the horizon.

Annual Victorian Mainstreet Conference
On 20 October, our Director Nancy Multari was filled with excitement to present with our client, City of Boroondara on Special Rates and Charges Programs. The room was filled with over 120 delegates at the 'Mainstreet Advantage', Annual Victorian Mainstreet Conference.
We addressed the importance of measuring and monitoring these programs to sustain a successful special rates and charges renewal. We hope our experience, opportunities and challenges will help inform other business communities - owners and trader associations and government across Australia.
It was an honour to present among other professionals and we thank Mainstreet Australia and the City of Boroondara for this exciting opportunity.

Business profiles are worth it
Having delivered a series of business profiles for the City of Banyule earlier this year, we have now been re-engaged to deliver more. Due to its success, generating high levels of traffic online and local media exposure we are doing it again, across the municipality's activity centres. It is evident that business profiles are well worth the effort.
The businesses and trader associations have been grateful of Council's support of their local business community and the vast exposure it has generated to the business.

Victoria Police, Blue Ribbon Foundation
Northern Metro Branch
We are calling for Expressions of Interest to any person or business seeking to support the Blue Ribbon Foundation, Northern Metro Branch in 2017.
Our director, Nancy Multari is a proud Board Member of the Northern Metro Branch.
The Northern Metro Branch of the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation has been launched. Honoring the lives of the 159 Victorian Police killed in the line of duty. The Northern Metro branch will be focusing on raising funds for urgent medical equipment for Public Hospitals serving the north west of Melbourne. This medical equipment will then be named in honor of one of our fallen police members.
Whilst the final decision will lay with the Blue Ribbon Foundation, the Northern Metro Branch will be advocating that the first memorial we dedicate, will be in honor of Mr Neil Clinch. Neil was shot in Fawkner in 1987 and tragically died as a result of his injuries. In 2017, we mark his 30 year anniversary and a dinner will be held on 7 April 2017.
