The inspection report on this Check Valve in 2010 came back poorly, and SIM were enlisted to repair and coat with CeramAlloy Ceramic Coating. 

6 years on, the client reports that the coating "appears to have arrested further wastage found back in 2010". The most recent inspection revealed only minor repairs are required after 6 years of service and overall a "successful initiative", giving the check valve another 6 years of life.
