PR

In public relations, the media have been gearing up for Christmas with mango-based festive recipes in Nine Kitchen, Over Sixty, The Chronicle, ABC Radio, Coles Magazine, Woman's Day, That's Life! and New Idea.

Fairfax Agricultural Media published a story Martina Matzner and the high-resolution satellite imagery and fruit scanner technologies currently being used in the mango industry, which was shared in all seven titles, reaching over 100,000 people. In regional media, John Nucifora discussed his thoughts on this season's growing conditions with The Cairns Post, The Townsville Bulletin, and The Advertiser.
Meanwhile, ten health and foodie digital influencers received festive-themed mango kits, encouraging them to create and share recipes for mango-based pavlovas, salads, drinks and cakes that are perfect for the Christmas table. We've already seen six influencers post imagery as a result of these kits, reaching 163,300 followers, receiving 3,734 likes and 173 comments!

SOCIAL

In social media, the Instagram page shared its very first video with the community, featuring a hyperlapse instructional clip for how to cut a mango hedgehog! It's already been viewed nearly 700 times and received 184 likes, which is very strong organic engagement and encouraging for future videos on this platform.

The Facebook page has been going mango-mad this past week, with Mango Madness Hours kicking off last Friday and Monday! In total, the two competitions reached a combined 21,266 people, and received 307 likes, 1300 comments and 37 shares in just two hours, proving the passion and excitement around Australia's fruit of summer!
