With the Primary concert just around the corner, the students have been busy practising to ensure that the night goes off without a hitch. Apart from the practice, this fortnight has been an eventful one:

Assembly Presentations
STAGE-1 A Where do we find Happiness-with family and friends
The students of Stage 1 A presented an impressive musical skit about Happiness with Friends and Family. They focused on the importance of the relationships in our lives.
To keep the message going through the week, all the students of the Primary section tied friendship bands that said ‘YOU MAKE ME HAPPY’ on their friends’ wrists.
TALENT OF THE WEEK
  • Naysha Vaishnavi demonstrated her Gymnastics skills.
  • Siyona Kadam and Yuvika Gupta performed an energetic dance.
  • Laasya Suryadevera and Yuvika Gupta showcased some of their paintings.
  • Aadhya Raju Penmecha and Anika Agarwal showed off some dance moves with their Hula Hoops.
Stage 1 B – Good Deeds and Actions
Students of Stage 1 B performed a skit about Helping Others. They sang a song about Kindness before they ended the Assembly with a graceful dance to the song ‘Heal the World.’
TALENT OF THE WEEK
  • Ashwath Pratap Singh played some tunes on the Keyboard.
  • S. Ikshitha showcased her drawings.
  • Angel Sahu sang a melodious English song.
  • Dhruv Reddy demonstrated an experiment about how circuits work.
  • Muskan Nayyar performed a peppy dance.
Activities to enhance learning!
Stage 1
Show and Tell: Students displayed the Animal Masks they had made, and shared amazing facts about those animals.
STAGE 2- LEARNING TO ENJOY REDAING DIFFERENT GENRES
The Students of Stage 2 wrote their favourite parts of the story ‘The Dancing Bear’ by the Micheal Morpugo. They enjoyed writing their opinions on small bear-shaped cutouts, which they then stuck onto a huge picture of a bear.
Stage 4
Students of Stage 4 were reflected on what they’ve learned in English, Math and Science by writing them on solid prisms, which they hung in the corridors outside their classrooms.
Spell Bee Day
Students of Stages 3, 4 and 5 celebrated Spell Bee Day by dressing up in outfits that matched the colours of a bee.
Hour of Code- It’s Time We Catch Up!
Students of Stages 1 to 5 were introduced to the concepts of Programming this week during the ‘Hour of Code’ in the Computer Lab. They were engaged in various age appropriate during Computer Science Education Week (December 5 -11).
PREFECTS FOR TERM 2
After rigorous written and interview rounds, students of Stages 3-5 were chosen to be Prefects of the Second Term. The Principal and Vice Principal gave the new Prefects their badges and reminded them of their new responsibilities.
 
The Prefects of Term 1 were given Certificates of Appreciation for the wonderful work they did to maintain discipline in the Primary Section.

Do Note:
We would like to reiterate that inspite of our constant endeavor to streamline the fee payment process, many parents still choose to remit the fees through IMPs and NEFT. 

For your benefit we are adding the procedure again here :
  • Payment needs to be made in the respective specified accounts only. These accounts information are specific for curriculum and branch. Kindly avoid remittances through other modes namely, NEFT, IMPS and RTGS. 
  • Two transactions are required for payments into two accounts. Payments will not be complete if transaction is done in only one account. The name will be in the list of defaulters until payment in the second account is done. 
  • Last dates for Fee payment : December 31, 2016.
  • While filling the Date of Birth in the SBM portal, kindly follow the norm of entering slash “/” between Date, Month and Year eg. DD/MM/YYYY – 02/05/2016. If you do not insert the slashes, you will get an error “please verify data entered and try again”.
Most Important:- PAYMENT INFORMATION TO SCHOOL AFTER PAYMENT : 
On completion of online payment, an acknowledgement will be generated in the SBM Payment Gateway Portal. This receipt is for the perusal of parents and necessary records.
For the school to receive an acknowledgement, kindly follow this process without fail.
Login to the school fee payment URL:
http://182.18.173.51/paymentinfo
Click on “Payment” link and enter the transaction details of your payment.

We earnestly urge you to follow the guidelines given to prevent any inconvenience later on.
More points to note:
  • Students must wear only a navy blue colour cardigan to school. Label the cardigan so that it can be traced if misplaced. It is also mandatory for them to wear only black shoes.
  • Check your child’s diary every day and do sign.
  • Please ensure that your child does not wear expensive jewellery / earrings to school.
  • We request you to monitor that your child submits the homework assignments on time.
  • Please write a note in your child’s diary in case you need to seek any clarification. It may not be possible for the class teacher to call the parent during school hours. You can also send a mail to pw.intl@chirecps.ac.in.
