Happy Holidays from the GaMEP

The end of the year can be a busy and exciting time, but we would like to take just a minute to stop and say THANK YOU to our manufacturers, partners, and all of you who work to make manufacturing a strong and sustainable industry in our state! Thank you for your commitment to excellence, each and every day, but especially as we close out a successful year and look forward to 2017!

It All Started with Some Good Advice

Alfredo Bermudez's grandmother always told him, "If you want something in life, you have to work hard to achieve it." He took that advice to heart and many years later, his hard work and determination has helped him grow a successful career in manufacturing, one step at a time.

Read Alfredo Bermudez's Story and watch his video to hear how he's earned seven promotions over a 24-year career at U.S. Battery in Augusta.
