Tithing: Time, Talent, Treasure, Testimony
The Christmas story reminds us that God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. Together we are preparing and working to bring about God’s peaceable kingdom on earth. Our tithing of time, talent, treasures, and testimony are making a difference to bring about God’s vision of Shalom as we live Christ’s mission.
In order to reach our 2016 Worldwide Mission Tithes goal, we need to raise $2M in December. You are invited to be part of this important ACHIEVABLE milestone to fund the mission of the church. It’s easy to give a year-end gift through E-tithing in Australia, Canada, or the USA.
As we stretch to reach our last financial goal for 2016, this is part of an unfolding story of generosity that includes exceeding our #GivingTuesday goal by over 50%, and a growing response of a new generation of givers to the mission of the church through GoFundMission. A New Year - A New Opportunity
2017 is just around the corner and we're starting it off with a challenge! Community of Christ congregations around the world are unique and beautiful places where people can build and strengthen relationships with God and with each other.
