With collective strength and resilience, our community has been known to overcome the obstacles and achieve feats of greatness that were previously considered to be impossible. The mere existence of Kaleidoscope Youth Center for over 22 years is an example—and it is because of the courage, generosity, and commitment of so many people throughout our history.
2016 has been a landmark year for KYC.
You, our Super Hero community, enabled us to make the giant leap to our beautiful new home on East Town Street in the Discovery District. In response to tremendous growth and the demolition of our former building, you came through for LGBTQIA and Ally youth
in a monumental way in 2016 with donations, needed supplies, volunteer hours and expertise, networking and
community partnerships, and never-ending
encouragement of our work.

Here’s what’s in store for 2017:
Together, we will continue to create safe, engaging, and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA and Ally youth at Kaleidoscope Youth Center, in schools, and in the community.
We will continue to identify youth needs and connect them to necessary services.
We will be a place where youth can bring ALL of themselves, find support for who they are, develop their strengths, and become leaders within a community
that stands up on the side of love and rejects hate.
We end 2016 with infinite gratitude to our Super Hero community, and a reminder that we will need your continued support in 2017.
