Admissions for IBEI's master's programmes is now open


You may apply until 1 July 2017 (applicants from outside the EU and/or those applicants wishing to be considered for one of the IBEI grants) and 15 July 2017 (applicants from an EU member state). You will find more information about the admissions process on our website www.ibei.org

We remind you that from December 24, 2016 - January 1st, 2017 (both included) the Ciutadella Campus will be closed.  IBEI will be closed until January 8, 2017 (included).

We also remind you that each year in the weeks prior to Christmas season, the IBEI offers a celebration for staff, faculty and students. This year’s reception will be offered on December 22 at 1:30pm.

The Eastern European and Post-Soviet Affairs Club


The first meeting of the Eastern European and Post-Soviet Affairs Club will take place in January. The club’s aim is to encourage a dialogue between students, scholars and practitioners working in this broad field. In attempting to fill the gap in discussing Eastern European issues in a Western centric environment, it brings together a network of people interested in Eastern European and Post-Soviet topics. On January 20, 2017 at 14h, Aina Gallego, Ramon y Cajal Research Fellow at IBEI, and Marta Curto-Grau, from Heidelberg University, will give the first research seminar of 2017 on "Educated Politicians: Their Effects on Fiscal Policy and Unemployment international political economy" at IBEI. New mobility agreements

New mobility agreements


IBEI has signed new partner universities agreements in order to increase the students possibility to participate in an exchange programme. It implies extending the Master's to 18 months as students will need another semester to accommodate their stay abroad. You can check all the partner universities here.
