Wrestling TakeDown Cancer Event

Tonight, January 5, 2017, the Raiders Wrestling Team will be hosting a TakeDown Cancer event at CDH in conjunction with our second home match of the season. Varsity and Junior Varsity will host St. Francis (ranked #5 in the state) in the Field House starting at 5:45 p.m. Both matches will be wrestled side-by-side on two mats.  Following the high school matches, CDH is host to a NCAA Div. III match between St. John's University and St. Olaf College. This match will start at approximately 7:00 p.m.

The goal of the event is to raise money for a donation to The Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund made in honor of Rebecca Leifeld (mother of CDH Assistant Coach, Matt Leifeld) who passed away last summer. We will be selling purple and gold rubber wrist bands that say, "TAKEDOWN CANCER" for a minimum donation of $2 in the cafeteria during lunches and also during the matches on Thursday evening.
