Greetings from Reynosa, Mexico where the temperature is falling and our team is wrapping up a wonderful week of ministry, loving on the staff and children of the Benito Juarez Children's' Home. In fact, we're just about to pass out all the presents you sent down so I need to make this quick!

This Sunday we are so blessed to get to hear the first message of 2017 from Bro. Buddy, our Founding Pastor! I've already seen his notes and I know it's going to be a "can't miss" message! He's going to ministering on the subject of "A New Beginning" with a special emphasis on Israel as God's time clock! With all that going on with Israel in the news recently, you will NOT WANT TO MISS this message! Our Mexico team will also give a brief update and I know our worship team will lead us right into the presence of the Lord.

As we wrap up this year, I'm so grateful for the generous heart of this church! You're giving in 2016 has allowed us to touch many lives through our various ministries, including (but not limited to) our School for Christian Workers, children's ministries (Sunday mornings, Kids' Community, Vacation Bible Camp), outreaches like Pineville's Fall Family Festival and our own Hallelujah Night, just to list a few. We've also had some wonderful opportunities to minister to families devastated by the flooding in south Louisiana as well as be a witness to the community through our clean-up efforts at the Holly Oak Cemetery. As your pastor I've been blessed to represent you on several public platforms, and 2017 looks like it will have even more opportunities for us as a church to give glory to God and challenge people to become disciples.

Thank you for being part of Christian Challenge, for supporting the ministry through your prayers, personal participation and generous giving. (In fact, many of us are here in Mexico because some of you gave!) I can't say it enough - THANK YOU for being part of our church family!
