Fran Lilley's Passing:
 Our hearts are heavy in learning of Fran's passing on Thursday December 22. Please keep Eric, children, and their families in your prayers during this sad time. Services for Fran will be held in mid-January in our area.
Fran was an integral part of our worshiping community-Missions, study, relationships and beautiful artistry are all gifts that Fran willingly shared with others. She will be GREATLY missed.
Connections Stone Soup lunch next Sunday:
 January Connections event will be grilled cheese and soup luncheon following worship Sunday, January 8th. Please bring a cooked protein or vegetable (canned or fresh) to be added to our special Stone Soup “pot luck” style recipe. Please bring your items prior to the worship service to be added to the soup for simmer during worship. RSVP to Heather Daniels.
Skype call with Maria Juliana:
 Join us next Saturday, Jan 7 at 11a.m. at the KOK as we video conference our sponsored Guatemalan student Maria Juliana and see how her year has been. We'll only have a few minutes of time to chat so make sure you're there a little early.
Missions team helping with Habitat for Humanity:
 Please thank our Missions team for representing KOHS in the newest Habitat for Humanity project! We’re a part of the 1st Holly Springs build ever! Our Missions team will be providing lunch for the crew for an upcoming build day. We will also be sending 5+ volunteers on January 14. If you’d like more information on how to volunteer or help with our Missions activities, you can contact Mary Bethel or Mary Tucker.

 As we continue to gather for activities in our busy schedules, we have multiple outlets for communication (newsletter, Facebook, etc…) we’d like to try a new way to quickly communicate our activities since most of us have cell phones. Strategic Planning Update

Focus on Youth and Education (31-Dec):
 Calling all neighbors! We've had a difficult time finding the best fit for supporting our nursery during our worship service. If you're aware of anyone who may be interested in this position, please contact Lane Yow or Heather Daniels.
Pastoral Leadership (31-Dec):
 The Pastoral Search Committee has been busy over the last couple of months. Over the past few weeks, we have begun the interview process that will continue at least through the next month. Please continue to pray for the team and the applicants that God will lead to the best match.

Time and Talents
- Love in Action (Brown Bag Bring Back): This is an easy way for you to serve and share with others in our community. With Brown Bag Bring Back you will receive a bag with a note highlighting a particular need in our area following worship service once per month. The note will include a list of items you can provide to help fill that need. Simply fill the bag with what you are able to provide and return it when you come to worship service the following week. - Love in Action: Serve our community and support the Missions team by donating food for the Holly Springs Food Cupboard any Sunday or helping with the milk supply runs on Thursdays.
