Thank you for celebrating Christmas in Kemptville with us! We had 60 amazing volunteers helping out with our parking, hot chocolate, greeting, painting, music & AV - we couldn't have done it without their willingness to step up and make this a great night for everyone. Thank you for serving!!!
We would also like to thank Andy and Big Sky Ranch for coming and bringing the animals for all of the services. Because of your generosity we were able to give them a donation of $950, thank you for supporting this great local organization.

LIFEGROUPS
Wow! Only great things to say about LifeGroups. We cannot say thank you enough for the great fall semester we've had together and the life change that has taken place. Please say a huge thanks to your leaders this Christmas for the hours they give each week to your group.
We also want you to know that we completed our largest K-Love project to date! We fed nearly 300 staff at the Kemptville schools. The amount of thankfulness and words of gratitude we received was amazing. We made a huge impact in our community because we came together as a church.
A big thanks goes out to Pastor Ben for his creativeness and to Phil Mosher for organizing, contacting and putting the plan into action!

Are you looking for an opportunity to make an impact and spread the love of Jesus to those in need? New Commandment Ministries offers an opportunity to serve those within the Southgate family that need a helping hand. For a small commitment, 4 hours per month, you can make a significant impact in the name of Jesus. Our Ministry deploys teams of 4-5 men who permanently adopt a widow, widower, single parent or any other distressed person. We meet one Saturday morning a month for 4 hours; 1 hour of bible study and 3 hours at our Care Receiver’s home completing all kinds of different tasks. The same team returns month after month to the same Care Receiver as long as there is a need, thus building a long term relationship that could last for years.

Hello ladies! Come walk with us! We walk each Monday morning at the Ferguson Forest Trails in Kemptville. We meet at 9:45am and begin our walk by 10:00am.

We had an amazing month of December! We kicked off our brand new financial series called, 'I was broke. Now I'm not.' It is amazing how much we have to learn about managing our money. Also our Young Adults have stepped up and starting giving to the capital campaign. It is amazing too see YA's trust God with their money. As a group we have pledged over $20,000 so far and we are still receiving pledges!

JANUARY
THANK YOU to all our wonderful actors who performed "Joy This Christmas," our Nativity play, on December 18th!! Despite the weather, we had a full cast, great narrators, singers, and dancers; the kids did a great job and really shined up there! We wanted everyone to experience the joy that Jesus came to bring us, joy that comes from belonging to Him, not from the things around us. There were certainly many moments of the performance that had us laughing, and there was a definite sense of joy afterwards!
Special thanks to Peter Ivay and Bob Duncan for building the set, to Wendy Smith for making costumes, to Kimberley MacLeod, Britte Kingdom, and Lorna Braden for cueing the kids backstage all morning, and Angela Hayward and Jen Dejonge who herded our little animals. Big thanks to Pastor Joel and Dan Mondoux for the production in the booth as well.

January in Kidville is about knowledge- discovering more about the story of love God has for each one of us. Jesus came to help us discover more about who God is and how he wants us to live. We want kids to know that there is lots to learn, and when we learn something new it can help us make wiser choices in following God.
We'll see you January 1st when we pick up the story of the wise men.

Kidville Grow will be resuming for a winter/spring semester on Wednesday January 18th, 2017. Join us!! This has been a great program with fantastic, committed leaders, groups that allow kids to make good friends at church, Bible memorizing, music, and fun application of great lessons!
You can sign up HERE. Those who attended fall semester- just send us an e-mail if your child will not be attending the next semester.

Our Kidville Christmas party was another super fun time this December, with everyone in Christmas PJ's running around and dancing, playing games, decorating cookies and hot chocolate, and making crafts that remind us of the joy of Christmas!

PK Place will similarly be learning how God's word is our good news that teaches us that God made us to be his friends.
