January 2017 Newsletter

Here's what happened in December:

* We had 15 different groups who volunteered over 400 hours in and out of our warehouse
We served at 5 different Foster Parent Night Out locations
We provided clothing and supplies to approximately 110 children
We completed our Season of Giving and had over 30 different groups and stores collecting stocking stuffers and new toys for us
We hosted our Stocking Stuffer event and filled 425 stockings(handmade by Nike!) to give out over the holidays
*More generous donors stepped up and purchased items off of our Amazon Registry

We are thrilled to announce that our 2016 Season of Giving campaign raised a grand total of 45,126.82! Thank you to everyone who donated! These funds will help launch us into 2017 and enable us to support even more children each month.

On December 9th we stuffed 425 stockings to give out over the holidays. Nike handmade the stockings and generous donors in our community came together and donated over 4,000 items to fill the stockings with. We were able to give the stockings out through Foster Parent Night Out, our monthly deliveries and various DHS holiday parties.

2016 was an amazing year for With Love,. We doubled our warehouse space, brought on an Executive Director, hosted our inaugural fundraising dinner and started supporting over 100 kids each month. We would not be where we are without each and every one of our amazing volunteers and donors. Thank you for partnering with us as we support local children in foster care. We are excited to launch into 2017 and anticipate an even bigger year!

We are excited to announce that local Portland artist Bill VanHorn will be donating a portion of the proceeds of the sales of his amazing artwork to With Love,!

These are items we give out on a regular basis and are easy to pick up while you are out shopping.
Grab a few next time you are out shopping and drop them by our drop off sites or bring them in next time you are volunteering at the warehouse.
