The mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.

Mainland Jump

We're starting 2017 with a BANG this week as we launch a new AO (area of operation) in Brunswick.  Here are the details:
  • Location: Howard Coffin Park - 1402 Sonny Miller Way - parking off of Lanier Blvd across from Ash Street
  • Date: Wednesday, January 4th (tomorrow!)
  • Time: 5:30AM - 6:15AM

There's no better time to EH a buddy into F3 than when launching a new location.  Reach back out to those guys who said the island was too far to drive and then offer to pick them up on your way to Howard Coffin.  Bearded Millenial (BM) has promised an epic launch workout!

Other Upcoming Dates

1/11 - F3 Lunch.  We'll meet at Boulevard Cafe on the island around noon.

2/5 - Super Bowl Party at Hee Haw's house.  M's and girlfriends welcome

2/18 - SGHS Bridge Run - (Cow Tipper Q) see below

2/25 - Dolphin Day Race - (Hee Haw Q) see below

3/4 - F3 SSI One Year Anniversary Convergence - see below

Keep working on EH'ing your buddy or coworker who hasn't experienced F3.  He doesn't yet know what he's missing...

See you in the gloom!

#CSAUPs, #Convergences, and Events - Additional Details

SGHS Bridge Run - February 18th
Last year’s Bridge Run registered 2500 participants including four of F3's own.  Certified by the USTA as “the toughest 5K in Georgia” the Bridge Run attracts top athletes from throughout the southeast.  Many others, including families and seniors, also register to walk the course.  The race features a Fire Fighters Challenge which begins at 8:00 AM, followed by runners at 9:00 AM and walkers at 10:00 AM.  All proceeds benefit Southeast Georgia Health System’s Cancer Programs.  Click here to register.  Choose "team member" and use password "jailbreak" to register with the F3 team.

Super Dolphin Day Race - February 25th
One of the most popular community events every year.  Includes a 10K, 5K, and 1 mile fun run.  Benefits the two elementary schools on St. Simons.  Hee Haw is Q and details on team registration are soon to follow...

F3 St. Simons One Year Anniversary Convergence - March 4th
To celebrate our first full year of beatdowns, smokefests, and embarrassing nicknames, we'll be hosting a convergence special event here on the island.  These are always memorable events and will likely involve guest Qs and special locations.  PAX from all F3 regions are invited - Jacksonville and Savannah are likely to be represented.  More details to be revealed as the date approaches.

UMCOR Disaster Response Training - March
In light of recent events, Twinkle Toes is working on lining up a training event through UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) to be held on St. Simons for F3 men.  This training equips men with skills needed during disaster relief like how to safely operate a chainsaw and how to work on roofs that are damaged.  Additionally, men who have completed this specialized training are allowed earlier access to disaster areas than the general public.  PAX from F3 Jacksonville and F3 Savannah will be joining us. More details to come...
First F
It is best if you arrive at least 10 minutes early and gloves are recommended.  Our weekly workouts are as follows:
  • Mondays, 5:30-6:15AM - Neptune Park
  • Thursdays, 5:15-6:00AM - Oglethorpe Point Elementary
  • Saturdays, 7:00-8:00AM - Neptune Park
Speak with Cow Tipper (jordan.tippett@gmail.com) if you want to pay back what you are getting out of F3 and Q for either an entire workout or ½ of a workout.
Second F
#COFFEETERIA - from the lexicon: "Post-Workout gathering of the PAX for mockery, lying and coffee-drinking." These are an important part of our F3 Community. Look to participate, if not weekly, then often. We only do this each Saturday, after our workout. There will also be other Second F opportunities, like #CSAUP and #HHHD. Look for these definitions in the Lexicon.
Third F
Outside of the workouts, we have found that many F3 participants start taking a more serious approach to questions of meaning and purpose. Many F3 workouts have spawned Bible studies, attendance at speaker series and other Third F initiatives. We encourage those efforts as supplements to the workouts and an important way for F3 participants to exercise leadership in their families and communities.
