The next Ruff Ceilidh at the Heath in Cardiff features Cats Claw, our very own Mic Spenceley will be calling so you can expect anything from contemporary American square dances through to dances from the 18th century.

Whichever you get you can rely on a wide variety of interesting dances. The band line up features Guy Bowden, Selyf Edwards, Imogen O’Rourke, Roger Bulcraig and Dave Pinnell.

Interval entertainment will be from one of the leading Welsh dance teams, Dawnswyr Gwerin Penyfai .

Does anyone have problems getting home after these ceilidhs? Could we set up some kind of lift sharing system? Would that help? I've been told that students in particular may be put off buy the travel and safety issues getting to and from the UHW venue. Comments please....

Payments will be processed by PayPal using any card. You can print a ticket yourself or simply collect at the door (please bring your receipt e-mail) just in case.

Coming in February 3sticks - they're not a big band but the music is so so danceable! Really fabulous fiddle from Jenny Newman.
