A Year In Review

A Year in the Life

2016 has been a year of challenges and stretching for our family.  Dan had resigned his position as a youth pastor at the very end of 2015, and Abigail resigned from her job as a Kindergarten teacher in June.  We both suffered the loss of grandparents.  Abigail’s paternal grandmother passed in March, and her paternal grandfather passed in July.  We were all able to travel back for their funerals.  Dan’s maternal grandmother passed away in September, and he was able to fly back and perform the funeral.  Through all of these things though, the joy of the Lord has truly been our strength!  Although it has been for somber reasons, this does mean that we have been blessed to see our families more than expected.

Aidan has remained our energetic, funny and loving boy!  He adores hotels, going to new places and making new friends in nurseries!  Whenever we get in the car, he says, “this is the life, dudes!”

In 2016, we reached 50% of our monthly budget, thanks to our supporters, just like you! You are the reason we've come so far!
