It has been an incredible year of growth for the MakeHaven community. We have added many talented members to our ranks and hosted memorable community events. I went back through photos from the year and picked out a few project and activity highlights. I hope you enjoy the review and it inspires you to consider building something great in 2017. Perhaps a New Year's resolution.

We will be entering 2017 stronger than ever with 130 members and growing. Growth in membership and a wide range of events added diversity and new talents to our group. This was assisted by those who chose to support the maker scholarship fund. If you want to give the gift of creativity and learning, please consider supporting the scholarship fund which ensures all makers can access the resources of MakeHaven.

Thank you to all of you who donated, volunteered, shared knowledge or made something awesome. The new year holds the promise of many new and exciting opportunities, I look forward to working together with all of you to make amazing things in 2017

Sincerely,

JR. Logan
Chief Maker

Things People Made

The events are amazing but the real magic of MakeHaven is what people dream up and build independently. Here are few examples from 2016.
3d printed chess pieces, stained glass candle holder, drones beer.
Hand carved axe handle, cutting board, pie, CNCed geometric shapes
Cast decoration, costume , a laser cut book cover, art instillation.
Metal cut motor part, 3d printed and knex drone, picture frame, dinning room table.
Crazy landscape hats, motorized skateboards, custom board game pieces and laser cut jewelry.
