  This Autumn saw the successful staging of the 3rd China International Logistics Development Conference and Fourth China (Sichuan) International Logistics Expo in Suining City, China.   
 

46 delegates from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), representing 25 countries, joined over 1500 local delegates for the event held between the 30th October and 1st November 2016. The conference was organised by the China Communications and Transport Association (CCTA / CILT China) in partnership with CILT International who were delighted to provide four excellent key-note speakers. Organised under the theme of Connectivity, Win – Win and Sharing, the conference was the perfect opportunity to explore the One Belt One Road Initiative (OBOR), the exciting reawakening of the Silk Road at the heart of China’s main logistics focus. Full story

MEET: Prof. Wang

Professor Wang Derong is Executive Vice President of the China Communication and Transportation Association (CCTA) and President of CILT China. Author of over 100 professional papers on logistics, Professor Wang is an experienced educator as well as a member of China’s National Planning Expert Committee. Recognised in 1991 by the Chinese State Council for his services to national logistics, Professor Wang continues to be a key player in the logistics and transport industry. Full story

 
 
MEET: Weiwei 

Weiwei Wang is Vice Director of Strategic Development at Shandong Logistics, Secretary General of CILT China, and Secretary General of WiLAT China. An industry insider with over 20 years’ experience, Weiwei is an expert in logistics planning and management, as well as supply chain and commercial logistics. Full story

 
 
MEET: Li 

Li Tong is CEO of China Central Television’s Logistics Website, Vice-Secretary General of CILT China and Chair of WiLAT China.
