SHOUTOUT TO FRAYSER LIBRARY
Congratulations to the Frayser Library for being selected as one of the locations for an early Literacy Center. Planning is underway for creation of an Early Learning Center within the Frayser Library. We look forward to this enhancement of Frayser Library's Children services for the Frayser Community.

FRAYSER LIBRARY JOB SEARCH
The Frayser Library will host a job search every Thursday from 12a – 2pm. Frayser Library is located at 3712 Argonne.

FRAYSER LIBRARY BOOK CLUB
The Frayser Library Book Club will meet Saturday, January 7 1:00 - 2:30. Frayser Library is located at 3712 Argonne.

FREE TAX PREPARATION AT THE FRAYSER LIBRARY JOB SEARCH
Free tax preparation at the library Monday, January 30th, 10:00AM - 4:00PM. Frayser Library is located at 3712 Argonne.

FRAYSER RALEIGH HOLIDAY PARADE THANK YOU NOTE
The members of the Frayser/Holiday parade planning Committee would like to thank out sponsors, participants, volunteers and staff for assisting in this years parade. Thanks for your support and we look forward to working with you next year.

FRAYSER HOME OWNERS INSURANCE
Frayser CDC believes that this community is suffering from very high, predatory home owners insurance rates. A legal firm has agreed to assist in gathering data and possible taking legal action. If you are living in Frayser and paying in excess of $1,500.00 a year in home owner insurance premiums, please contact Steve Lockwood at 901.354.9402 or slockwood@fraysercdc.org 
FREE CERTIFIED INCOME TAX PREP WITH IMPACT AMERICA
For households with children earning up to $53,00 or without children up to $20,000 call 1.844.TAXES-TN to schedule an appointment in mid-January. For Frayser residents the tax preparation will be offered at Ed Rice Community Center.

FRAYSER COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING
On Thursday, January 26th 6:00PM Ed Rice Community Center FCA will host its annual meeting. In addition, the FCA will have a meeting on Sunday, January 15th, at 5:30PM Ed Rice Community Center.

FRAYSER COMMUNITY PARENT TEACHER STUDENT ASSOCIATION
FCPTSA will be meeting Thursday, January 26th 6:00PM at Ed Rice Community Center.

FRAYSER CUB SCOUT PACK
A Cub Scout Pack meets every Monday at 7:00PM Arkwings located at 2034 James Rd. The cubs are open to children kindergarten - 5th grade. Contact Frances McNeil at fmcneil233@aol.com

NORTH FRAYSER COMMUNITY CENTER
North Frayser Community Center is offering a fitness camp every Tuesday/Thursday from 6:30PM - 7:30PM. Kickboxing will resume Friday, January 6th 6:30PM - 7:30PM.

OASIS OF HOPE NEW LOCATION
Oasis Appliance & Home Furnishings is moving to Northgate Shopping Center at 3200 Thomas St. Quality pre-owned appliances and furnishings will be for sale. Oasis will be open Tuesday - Saturday 10:00AM  - 4:00PM. Contact them at 901.577.0013

SAVE THE DATE: ENERGY JUSTICE TOWN HALL MEETING
On Thursday, January 12th, 6:00 - 7:30 Benjamin L. Hooks Library, a town hall meeting will be held to discuss energy burdens and the impact on low-income families and children. This meeting is being hosted by a joint venture between Just Energy Memphis, and MLGW Neighborhood Association Advisory Coalition.
