We're very happy to introduce you to our NEW 2017 Picholine (French) Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The olives were harvested in April/May and pressed immediately. Release of the oil was delayed allowing time for the oil to settle for greater clarity. The oil comes in three sizes (250ml = $16; 500ml = $29; 750ml = $39)

2016/17 has been a very good year for olives (and for grapes). We had a lot of rain during the 2016 Winter (which adequately wet the soil profile) and a growing season through Spring and Summer that was sunny but not too hot. 

The result is a
Picholine Oil that has a particularly "green and grassy" flavour and colour. Gai is confident you will be delighted with it when drizzled over salads or blended with her Caramelised Balsamic Vinegar


GREEN GARLIC OILONLY AVAILABLE FROM JUNE UNTIL NOVEMBER
This year's oil is very special and very popular. It's still only $16 per bottle and lovely with seafood (especially prawns), over steak, salads or just for dipping bread.

It is available only until November as the stems (which give it the green colour and the creamy flavour) will have died and decomposed. We think it is the only one of it's kind in the world.

FREE DELIVERY DURING SEPTEMBER
For many years we have had a $15 delivery charge for orders under $140. For those who only want to purchase one or two products, we wanted to give you some relief from the delivery charge.
For orders received during September (via email, phone or Paypal) we are offering FREE delivery (regardless of the value of your order) and regardless of where you live in Australia.

SPECIAL MEMBERS RELEASE
Our NEW 2017 Semillon (with a little Reisling) won't be released into the Cellar Door until October. Before then, we are offering it to Blacklea Members in six (6) packs at a special price of $100 (including the FREE delivery announced above). As it is not yet on the website, YOU CAN ONLY ORDER THIS WINE VIA THE PHONE OR EMAIL.
If you remember the 2014 Semillon (with a little Riesling) this new wine will once again leave a very big impression on your palate (lemons and limes).

DEGUSTATION LUNCHES - 5 COURSES FOR $45
Gai's lunches continue to grow in popularity. If you are coming to Mudgee on a Saturday & Sunday (12 noon until 3pm) consider coming to one of her lunches. You won't be disappointed with the value and the cuisine. The feedback each weekend is amazing!
As she becomes busier, booking in advance is becoming more important (6373 3366). Also, it helps when she knows who has booked as many items are prepared that morning.
