Gippsland Sports Forum - Why women are the secret to your sports’ survival 
At the end of November, 121 people from local government, health agencies, state sporting associations and sport's club members, player and officials attended Gippsland’s first Sports Forum. Chronic care guide
The aim of the 'Care for people with chronic conditions guide' is to ensure chronic care services provided by the Community Health Program improve the health and wellbeing of people with chronic conditions. Case studies from community health services provide examples of good chronic care in practice.

Family violence TV advertisements
You can view and share the new Victorian Government family violence videos via the Gippsland Women's Health YouTube channel. 

East Gippsland children's wellbeing survey
The purpose of this survey is to identify training that has previously been undertaken and to identify what the future training needs are in the following areas; Service Access, Children's Social and Emotional Wellbeing, Family Violence and Children with Additional Needs.

New opportunities


East Gippsland Shire Council Plan - community feedback survey/discussion
EGSC is asking for feedback about what you value to help guide the new four-year Council Plan. All people who live in, work in or visit East Gippsland are encouraged to participate.

Sports and Recreation Governance Scholarship
Sports Without Borders, is offering fifty $1000 scholarships towards Diploma of Business (Governance) enrolments. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit and the likely impact for the sporting organisations served by each recipient.

Victorian Cancer Survivorship Program grants
Grants of up to $100,000 for services to leverage existing funding or initiatives, adopt an existing model or address a specific survivorship matter or resource need.

1 in 3 Australian women will experience sexual or domestic violence. Responding is everyone’s business. 1800Respect have developed a great list of varied webinar recordings. All of the recordings are free and run for approximately 1 hour each.

ASIST training courses
February - September | Morwell and Traralgon courses available
The two day training workshop is an intensive participatory course designed to help participants as care givers recognise and assess people at risk of suicide and to implement an effective suicide intervention model.
