Guilty Feet!
I would like to address a little thought that comes to me from time to time. When people have not been in to see me for a while, I notice that they sometimes feel strange about coming back in, or they look sheepish if I meet them when I am out and about, and they start explaining why they haven't been in. I know, I do the same thing when I see a practitioner that I haven't been to for a while! 

Why do we do this? It is so silly.

From my point of view, if you haven't been to see me for a while, I hope it is because you are feeling good and you don't need an appointment! If that is not the case, and you just haven't found the time to fit in your usual appointment, please know that I would never want you to feel bad about it. I understand that life gets busy! 

Even if you have not been back to see me because you are doing some other kind of therapy, or seeing a different acupuncturist, I am still not going to be upset with you. I am more concerned about you getting the care you need than I am about you coming to see me. If you find some other treatment that works better for you, or that suits your schedule more, I am happy for you.

I know this is not the philosophy they teach in business school, but it is the way I feel. I really hope that nobody feels guilty about not coming in more often. If you haven't been in for a long time, I will still be happy to book an appointment for you. There is no need to commit to a series of appointments. You can just come in for a tune-up when you feel the need. I am here when you need me and my calendar seems to be pretty full anyways, so as long as everyone is happy, I am happy too!

New Patient Fees

In January I will be implementing a "new patient fee." This will be a one-time initial fee for new patients for acupuncture or cupping therapies. If you are a current acupuncture or cupping therapy patient, don't worry, this won't effect you at all. 

Speaking Engagements

I am available to come to your workplace or event to speak on several topics. I have spoken at trade shows and wellness fairs and offered "Lunch and Learn" events in the  past. I am pretty darn versatile if I do say so myself! 

I can help your group with issues like stress and anxiety management, boosting energy and concentration, headaches, stiff muscles and general aches and pains etc. I can do this by teaching simple energy balancing techniques like breathing techniques, guided imagery or meditation, and acupressure.
