East Bay Open Studios - Call for Artists!
This popular annual event on June 10-11, 2017 is open to all artists in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. You need to register and pay their fee directly yourself, but if you don't want to open your home studio to the public, CAA can help. If we get 10+ artists who want to participate as a "collective", then we can look for a place for everyone to exhibit together. EBOS will give us a free ad in the directory, in addition to each of your individual listings.
Click here for registration details on the EBOS site and then let us know if you want to be in a group location.
Rotating art galleries
Our rotation for January through March is
posted here on the blog – take yourself on an art tour and check out some of our members’ work. Let us know if you want to join the artists' waiting list to participate next quarter, and please tell us if you know any local business owners who'd like to become one of our venues.
Follow us on Instagram!
We just set up a new Instagram account to connect with even more local artists, businesses and art lovers. We're sharing member art daily. Follow us:

Concord Chamber of Commerce
CAA is now a proud member of the
Concord Chamber of Commerce, so we can network with local businesses to build more awareness and uncover new opportunities for exposure and art sales. Let us know if you'd like to attend any Chamber events at the member rate.
IMPORTANT UPDATE ON DONATIONS
CAA has recently learned that our nonprofit designation is actually 501c4 (not 501c3), which means that your membership dues and donations are not tax-deductible at this time. The board will make a decision soon as to whether or not we will re-apply for 501c3 status or if we will partner with another arts group who already has it (for fundraising purposes). Let us know if you have any questions - we'll keep you posted.
What's new with you?
Email us images of new art you've created, where you are exhibiting and other arts-related news - we’ll feature it on our Facebook page.
