Happy New Year from Rosanda House

I thought I'd send another brief newsletter. There are two reasons really. Firstly I'm just about to post out our snail-mail "Northfield News" which normally goes out in November. We had a busy end of year and I never quite got it finished and so it kept going out of date! Secondly, there are a few item of news which you might find interesting.

The Steam Coast Trail is an exciting project, still ongoing, to build a breath-taking network of multi-user paths around West Somerset. It will weave walkers, cyclists, runners and wheelchairs through glorious countryside.

The first phase of this trail project opened in December and it runs from Dunster Beach almost all the way to Blue Anchor.

Yes, that is the Flying Scotsman! We had the exciting news recently that it is coming to Minehead to run on the West Somerset Railway in September - full details and tickets will be out soon and you can keep in touch with arrangements by visiting the West Somerset Railway site.

The Antiques Roadshow is coming to Minehead WSR station on Wednesday 17th May!
