He is a trainer of teachers of the Alexander Technique and LearningMethods and gives workshops around the world. David's LearningMethods Website
WHAT IS THE MORNING ABOUT?...
We've all had those moments when we are whole and present, when we move with ease and freedom, when we feel present and at one with ourselves and our surroundings, and when our activities are effortlessly coordinated for us, We know those are lovely high-value moments when we are just "being", and not having to "do" anything. Unfortunately, for most of us those moments are few and far between.
But the fact that you've had them, shows you that your system is capable of functioning that way. This 2-hour morning session will show you how we interfere with this innate wholeness and freedom, but more importantly, how you can allow your wonderful coordinating system to organize you in wholeness most of the time.
Through a series of practical and experiential demonstrations, each built upon the ones before, you will come to understand the main principles of your coordinating system and you'll experience that understanding in a way you can take out of the class with you and start using right away in your daily life.
Whenever I've worked with teachers or practitioners — whether that be Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais or other health practitioners, performance or yoga teachers, etc. — everyone comes to new clarity and simplicity of understanding, or new levels of in-touchness and freedom, and usually BOTH. As a bonus, you'll have new tools to help your students or clients learn too.

WHAT IS THE AFTERNOON ABOUT?...
In the afternoon session, you'll experience the Anatomy of Wholeness perspective applied to movement education. Babette's approach to movement work — Wholeness in Motion — is rooted in the way of knowing ourselves based on David's Coordinating system / Suspension system model. There will be lots of fun playing around to develop your own experiential sense of what works for you and what doesn't.
The session is an exploratory movement approach in which you learn principles for understanding your body, your balance, your volume, space, mobility, strength, dynamic range and your miraculous design. The principles explored in this afternoon session can be applied to anything you do. See more details on Babette's website
