COMMUNITY FORUM ON JANUARY 24

Attendees of the AMS annual meeting in Seattle are invited to participate in a community town hall on the decadal survey’s objectives, progress to date, and plans for completion in late 2017.  Survey co-chairs, Waleed Abdalati and Bill Gail, will be on-hand to lead the discussion along with other members of survey’s steering committee and study panels.

Community Forum at the 97th Annual Meeting of the American Meteorological Society

COMMUNITY INPUT

The decadal survey committee has solicited input on science objectives and measurements through two separate requests for information (RFIs), the second of which closed in July of 2016. Although no longer accepting RFI responses, the survey committee is accepting additional input that is not focused on specific science or measurement suggestions. Any additional information related to the implementation or successful achievement of Earth science objectives is welcome and will be distributed to the committee and made public as required. Please send us your input via email at: esas2017@nas.edu.
