The Cincinnati USA CVB, the region's primary destination marketing and management organization, is an aggressive sales, marketing, service and visitor organization with the primary responsibility to positively impact the region's area economy through convention, trade show, and visitor expenditures, and provide quality service to our clients.

In the past few years the CVB has been responsible for bringing groups like the World Choir Games, NAACP, American Legion and the National Baptist Convention to Cincinnati. Generating thousands of hotel room nights and tens of millions in economic impact. In 2015, 70% of all downtown hotel room nights were generated as a result of the CVB; we are the hospitality engine for the entire region.

JASON VAUGHN
CEO
Frisch's

Jason Vaughn was named the Cincinnati-based company’s CEO, effective April 14, 2016. He was selected after a seven-month national search.

Vaughn has worked in the restaurant industry for 25 years. He most recently served as president and COO of Memphis-based Lenny’s Subs. Prior to that, he was vice president for Wendy’s International and served on the board for the Political Action Committee to address business and franchise concerns. He started his career at Yum! Brands and spent 19 years there.

“We have big plans for the future of Frisch’s Big Boy and I know our loyal customers, and those new to the restaurant, will welcome what we have in store,” Vaughn said in a statement. “It’s great to come to a company that is truly set up for success. We have employees who are proud of what they do, a growing customer base and a leadership team that is ready to take Frisch’s Big Boy to the next level.”

Frisch’s was acquired by Atlanta-based private equity firm, NRD Capital, in August 2015. It operates 95 Big Boy restaurants and franchises 25 others to independent operators.
